Running clothes that won’t break the bank do exist, and I’ve spent way too much money finding them so you don’t have to. When I first started running, I thought I needed the expensive stuff to feel legit. A few years and a lot of Amazon orders later, I know that’s not true.
This post is a real list of the pieces I actually wear on my runs. No brand partnerships, no stuff I’ve never touched. Just the bras, leggings, tops, and accessories that held up, fit my body that I bought with my own money and didn’t cost me a paycheck.
Every item here is one I picked specifically because it’s affordable. Each piece on this list came in under $30 when I bought it, though Amazon prices shift often, sometimes for the better if something’s on sale, so click through to each product to see the current price before you decide.
This post is all about running clothes that won’t break the bank.
1. Champion Women’s The Curvy Sports Bra
Champion Women’s The Curvy Sports Bra
This one surprised me. It’s built with more room through the band and cup than most sports bras marketed as “one size fits curvy,” and it actually stays put on longer runs. It’s not the most supportive bra I own, so I reach for it on easier days or shorter distances rather than anything high impact.

2. Yvette Front Closure High Impact Sports Bra
Yvette Front Closure High Impact Sports Bra
Yvette is a brand I already trust for support, and this front closure version is the easiest one I own to actually get on and off. It’s often running a deal that brings it well within budget, so check the current price when you click through, since that can change.
3. Queenie Ke Ultra High Waisted Leggings
Queenie Ke Ultra High Waisted Leggings
These are the leggings I reach for when I want something reliable without spending a lot. The high waist doesn’t roll down mid-run, which is the main thing I need from a legging, and they’ve held their shape through a lot of washes. I do have a pricier pair I splurge on for some runs, but honestly these hold up close enough that I don’t feel like I’m missing out.
4. CRZ YOGA Butterluxe Capris
If it’s too hot for full length leggings, these are what I switch to. The fabric is softer than I expected for the price point, so check the listing for current cost since this one sits toward the higher end of what I’d call budget.

5. Under Armour Tech Twist Tank
This is my go-to tank for warm runs. It breathes well and the fabric doesn’t cling in the way a lot of cheaper moisture wicking tanks do.

6. Under Armour Women’s Tech Twist Short Sleeve Crew T-Shirt
Under Armour Women’s Tech Twist Short Sleeve Crew T-Shirt
Same fabric as the tank above but with sleeves, which I like for cooler mornings or when I don’t want sun on my shoulders. It runs true to size in my experience.
7. Feetures Elite Ultra Light No Show Tab Socks
Feetures Elite Ultra Light No Show Tab Socks
These aren’t the cheapest socks out there, but they’re the only pair that hasn’t given me a single blister in over a year of running. Cheaper socks cost me more in the long run in moleskin and bad runs, so this is the one place I don’t cut corners.
8. Columbia Silver Ridge IV Ball Cap
This is the hat I actually reach for on hot runs. It breathes better than any hat I’ve tried, so my head doesn’t turn into a sauna halfway through, and it’s comfortable enough that I forget I’m wearing it.
9. HSEM Headbands for Women
These stay put through sweat, which is more than I can say for a lot of headbands I’ve tried. They come in a multi pack, so you’re getting several headbands in one order, not just one.
